$25 to the best logo, with a winter theme.
Looking for a masthead size (728*90 i believe) or close enough to it.
Must have a white or transparent background, but will be on a white background.
Check out my site at http://www.fatboymagazine.com to get an idea of what we are about.
Do what you want with the existing logo. PSD or AI files are available if needed. I would PREFER you kept the "smirking guy", but nothing else is a "sacred cow", so to speak.

Any qestions?

A winter theme on a white background...or transparent doesnt leave alot to work with really...winter is a background scene...you really cant have one here.
I had a light blue gradient in the background and some snow originally then I reread your requirements...
This is what I have so far...Im really not sure what you are looking for your site is very modern and clean...the black and red wont really go with a winter theme...

I think thats cute! I love the colors... I like the knit cap, though i dont like how that particular one is illustrated... but i love the hat and the idea of the hat.... a light blue snowflake or two would make it more wintery...

Eww You are a sick man.
Running that kind of website.
Do you know that children can run into websites like that.
You should be ashamed of your dirty self.

Aakashm, yes, children could find my site. They could find things far worse too. They wont see anything on my site they wouldnt see on a day at the beach in most of the world though.

I'm not sure which version you're talking about, I have only posted 1 version. I have not edited my first post.
Unless... you're talking about your logo being changed:

Ok. I must be mistaken. I like this a lot... if the Christmas tree was out (Winter theme, not jsut Christmas!) ... could you kill the tree?

No Tree:

Star above tree removed, and 2 more trees put in. (So it doesn't imply Christmas as much)

if there is a way you could make the snowflakes a bit more defined (but not the snowflakes over the logo, they look great) I'm pretty sure I have a winner.

No Glow filter on the snowflakes so that edges are more visible and slightly brighter color:
