showing the users on a website

If you have experience in programming and webdesign skills then this maybe a very simple task to do

i need to have this info to be displayed on the bottom of my website index page e.g

0 registered and 34 guest users online 1 newest members: vicky

There are two ways of doing this. Using a file to store the users, or a database.

There are plenty examples out there, you just gotta use google.
