Hi I had ads working smoothly on one of my sites
Site (http://www.coffee-tea.co.uk)
A few days ago the ads stopped working and I had the following error
You must set the ad_network_ads_160.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).
Anyway I tried to revalidate and still had the same problems.
I then contacted my host, just in case they had changed some permissions, but they told me that they have made no recent changes to any settings.
Anyway I decided to redo everything, now I get the following error.
You must set the ad_network_ads_185.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).
Anybody had any similar problems, tips on getting things to run again?

just to further update this,
I tried to use the full url in the include.
This just results in a blank space

Well, did you check the file? Because it doesn't seem to be there...

No, the 160.txt was how I originally had it. So I took everything down; this time when I went through the setup It asked to used
ad_network_185.php
ad_network_ads_185.txt
So those are the ones I uploaded.

Well if it's telling you that ad_network_ads_160.txt is missing, that's the file it's looking for. I would double-check the name of the .txt file in your ad_network .php file, or change the name of the existing .txt file to what it's looking for.

It's asking for You must set the ad_network_ads_185.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).
That is the one I have.
I'll just quickly try this out on one of my other sites on a different host and see if it shows there.

The file IS there... are you sure the permissions are at least 666? Because if you changed the file and uploaded it again it will have its permissions changed, better double check that, I am almost sure it is your problem

OK,
I tried the ads on another site on another host and they work fine (not validated them, but they show ads at the bottom)
So I guess that the problem is on the hosting side.
Thanks for all the help :)

I've got to admit that you've totally lost me with that comment.

lol... ok, I guess you have cpanel, right?
Go to your site's cpanel, then look for an icon that says something like File Manager, click on it, then look for a folder that says public_html and click on it, look for your ad_network_ads_185.txt and click on it's link, then on the right part of your screen, click on "Change Permissions", the three numbers there must be 666, if not, change them and click on "change"
