Would A Hindu Translation Help For G.in ?

Most of my visitors come from india (google.in) searches to my horoscope blog so I was wondering, would I get better ranking if I used the blogspot translation tool to translate my characters to hindu ones ?

Also, do you think this would help in other google.() as well or would it be counted as duplicate content ?

From what I heard the translation aren't that perfect, you may be scaring off the visitors if they read the translated version. I do not think that it will be duplicate, Google would translate everything to English to compare, but caveet emptor when using such online translation services.

Well, the translations won't be that perfect, it's more of a transliteration (I think) anyway. I was thinking of maybe having a different section for the translated posts, but wanted some advice. I might not bother afterall, most Indians type in Google on english anyway.

Most Indians are quite proficient in the written English, so it should not be an issue. It is definitely safer to have them read a good english version than a translated one which may have errors, this may not be good for your image.
