What Shawn did on allowing us to put our Adsense code on this site is really a good way of increasing our earnings. Just now, I earned 51 cents on one click. Thanks DP.

I have been earining a little bit per week from DP. Around $3 per week from it. So not to bad at all. Every little bit helps. The more active in the forums you are in threads the better your chances at receiving money from clicks. So yes a great marketing idea and way to increase the traffic on the site.

If you are logged in, you do not see your own ads. As for click bombing, I think in a respectful webmaster community such as this, we are beyond childish attacks like that.

Jokes aside, I assume I should be earning something from here but I cannot figure out still how to setup in Adsense the channel or whatever to track the incoming clicks made true DP

Well, other people gave their thanks too.

I Guess it's Shawn's way of giving back to the community.

Remember though, this is not a source of income. If you have 5000 Posts and start really good topics, you might get 10 USD or around that per month.

But the thought counts, and after all, he's unique. I never saw others owners with such big hearts.

He even left members the possiblity to have PR transferable links (without nofollow) in signatures (4 links even), not like Seochat (nofollow's) or Webmasterworld (where you can't even post a link).
