How do I safely buy a domain name on these forums and get it transferred to my godaddy account without being scammed? Thanks!

The safest way to buy/sell domains is via an Escrow service like Escrow.com or Moniker's Escrow service. But for a few dolloar amount, it's not worth paying for an escrow service. Also, check out the iTrader rating of that person & also if their past deals are not just a few dollar deals as well. Also, if they're an established member with a lot of contributions here that will help also.

Check the iTrader rating and see how quickly the buyer responds to PMs. On forums, it can be risky.
