I had an advertiser told me in an email that the last months commissons will be paid the a month late, is this okay or does this sound strange?
here is the email from cj:

due to the internal invoice-processes ///// wasn´ t able to payout your commissions this month on the regular basis. We will ensure that the outstanding payment will be included in the next payouts. We apologize for all inconvenience.

Just wondered if this is something to worry about

Is this something that CJ told you, or something that the advertiser told you? Which advertiser is this, if it was an advertiser?

It was Pokerroom, they sent me an email, not CJ

Have you been paid by them before? Also did you send them a email and they were just replying to you with your inquiry?

Friends,
They owe me a lot of money in last 4 months through CJ. I was running both PPC and leads programs for them.
They are taking fake leads as an excuse. Ideally CJ should help us in this scenario but they say "All we could do it put pressure on them for the payment"
I am tired of writing to the CJ support.
Lets join hands and teach them a lesson. Lets teach them that we affiliates are not fraud and cheats. We have spend money and time to generate leads and traffic.
They can not keep us hanging like this.
I plan to travel to Austria next month and have already spoken to a lawyer there.
I need your support to make this possible. I promise you justice and promise you your money.

This has happened many times before, and just recently with mortgage companies (such as Ameriquest). Sounds to me like their about to close up their affiliate program and leave the affiliates hanging. I would pull their links until they pay you.
If you aren't paid by next months payouts then it's doubtful you will get paid at all. In my experience SOME merchants do have the occasional delay in payment but immediately make up for it the following month. If they don't then I wouldn't advertise that merchant any longer until the bills are paid.
