Google search says one thing - Keyword Tool another...

I've just plugged a search term into Google and lo and behold, there are no
Adwords ads showing for it.

I popped the same term in the Keyword Tool and this shows advertiser competition at maximum.

Why would that be?

They are checking against historical data, and also remember most companies shut off their campaigns on weekends and holidays.
