i made a site with dreamweaver 3 years ago..html site..i never update..never..no baclinks..never

but pr 3..never understand google's system:)

3 month old site - worked my butt off...first pr update got me pr3.

mine one was 3-4 months old, in the google PR update got 3PR . not bad :)

any way key thing is Quality Back links. work on that you will get quite good Pr.

Olo PR is based on backlinks so get backlinks

But
Pr is just a number nothing more PR not equals traffic
All that is important is traffic and rankings

Just a PR4 backlink will give you PR3.

Well said. PR does not equal traffic.

I am sure you can get a PR3 with a well built website. Make sure you have quality and relevant backlinks. Put fresh content on your site.

PPC has nothing to do with google pagerank. PR3 is pretty simple to get: a few (I literally mean 2 or 3) quality backlinks (from legit sites) and a bit of patience and you're there. Just don't spam or break the google rulebook: that can get your pagerank deleted.

put some effort and ur web will rock soon.
Submit to all major SE. and directories like dmoz and yahoo. (but its hard to get into dmoz and yahoo dir)
Get some links from higher pr websites and within 3-4 months u will feel the difference
