I've just completed the setup for my new eBay affiliate forum and would like to invite all current or prospective eBay affiliates to the forum to start discussing the program.

http://www.ebayaffiliateforum.com/

In return, for every affiliate commission made through this eBay affiliate forum, a lucky forum member will receive 50% of the sales commissions!! The more you post the better your chances are to earn the commissions. I also plan to offer certain eBay affiliate products for a startup competition once the forum gets off the ground.

Join up now and help me jump start the community!

You may run into some issues since you've registered a domain name with the eBay trademark in it...

Yes it may, but I'm going to push the fact that it's the unofficial forums and if a dispute comes, then I will transfer to another domain I have waiting in the wings that is non-ebay trademarked.

(2) eBay Trademarks. You will not use in your domain name or URL (specifically, any term before the third "/" of your URL) nor purchase or register in any search, referral, or advertising service (such as Ask.com's "Sponsored Listings" keyword program) any of the following terms:

1.
Any domestic or international eBay company trademarks, and all translations thereof, including "eBay", "PayPal", "Half" or any URL or keyword string that includes eBay company names (for example, "www.yourcompany-ebay.com", "eBay auctions", "eBaymotors", "ebay motors", "eBay jewelry", "PayPalpayments", "paypal payments", "Halfitems", "Half items"); or

Yep, you're definitely in violation of their terms. Might want to change that ASAP.

I agree with everyone. I'd cut your losses now, and sell that domain to a sucker.

Googie, MS, and eBay are big boys. You don't want to mess with any of them.

I'll just switch over to a different domain that I bought with it. No Big deal.

I'll just switch over to a different domain that I bought with it. No Big deal.

You'll lose all your backlinks, and a have a hell of a time 301ing everything to the new domain. Plus any branding and domain familiarity/memorability will go down the drain.

Most eBay affiliates won't exactly feel comfortable posting on a board that is violating eBay's trademark policy.

It's brand new and has no backlinks, etc. I'll switch the domain and re-advertise with hopefully better results. Let me know if you have any better suggestions, sell off, or re-brand.
