how accurate are these numbers in your trials and how is a 7day EPC going to be higher than a 3 monthEPC

I had the same question.

What is better to go with, the highest 3 month or 7 day EPC?
ie this affiliate banner on cj has a 3 month EPC $158 / 7 day EPC $4.50

I can't understand these EPC figures, because the same banner has a 7 day EPC of $13 and a 3 month EPC of $27.
So how can the week's EPC be more than the 3 month EPC.......

A single week EPC can be larger than the 3 month EPC for many reasons. Maybe they picked up some new affiliates in the past week that made a lot of sales. Maybe its a seasonal item. Maybe that banner is new. A 7 day epc thats higher than 3 month epc is a good sign because its showing growth. A 7 day epc thats lower than 3 month epc shows decline.

also someone explained...."The banner statistics are appropriately reflected. A banner with a low 3
month EPC means that conversion was lower in the past, but a higher 7 day EPC can mean many things, one of which is that a new publisher with a better converting site picked up the banner"

Yes correct...the 3 month EPC is usually what you should look at to see a longer time frame reference as to how well a program will perform.
