Hey guys.

I have just tweaked and re-started an Adwords campaign. For the first hour, the CTR was at 3.5%.
It has now slipped gradually over the last 45 mins to 2.68%.

What exactly does this mean? That a certain-worded ad will do best during a
certain time of the day? That a users interest in clicking on an ad is less around dinner time?

Or does it mean nothing?

You can't have same CTR all the time. Variation between 3.5 and 2.68 is very small, so that's normal.

Thanks. I just checked again. Up to 2.86% and now back to 2.6%

Less of the micro-managing, I think... :D

Your location and what countries or regions you advertise will give you this
fluctuations, also there is a 3 hour delay for final online results.

It means you're checking things too often and making decisions based on statistically insignificant data.
