I need a small project done and can't find anyone here locally that can do it.
Need two databases built that can handle Access files. The databases are going to be used for fundraising record keeping.
If you have any other ideas I'm open to suggestions. Funding is available but limited. Prefer to work with someone in the US.
Thanks

I have several years experience, but am based in New Zealand.
What do you mean by "can handle Access files"? Are the dbs to be built in Access or do you want a front end to interface with the Access dbs?
PM me if you want.

I think you need to look at the bigger picture. I work for FRs all day every day, and yes i sell FR software. But... I can understand your budget. I would NOT build from scratch. It may sound appealing but you're going to spend too much time testing, and without the right tools it's so easy to send an 'ask' to the deceased, or miss a thankyou letter.
I have done a quick search around and found the following:
http://www.salesforcefoundation.org/index.html
SalesForce is a well known brand. The above is free for 10 users (if you qualify), however it's hosted so you have to use the internet to get to your information. The functionality however would be comprehensive.

I haven't used it, but it's free.
Also have a look at this article:

Building from scratch is going to cost you more in time than it will dollars.
