I asked a question about a member that used to be here in this thread: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=619883

And it was being discussed in the GENERAL Section (Anything your heart desires can be posted here.)
Why would you close it? Seems kinda wierd that I cant talk about it here....
Maybe you should change the General section to read "Anything your heart desires as long as we agree with it"

I dont get it? Power trip? Im sure I will get Neg rep for this...oh well...

Do any of you see anything wrong with that thread?

Hi,

i will tell you why your thread got closed :)

its simple most likely common sense :)

this is why:

Katy Katy is offline
Recent Blog: Merry Christmas!
Moderator²

Quote:
Or was I reading it wrong?

No, you read it right.

she is a mod at DP as it says below "Recent Blog: Merry Christmas!"

she answered your question , end of topic and then locked thread.

see simple :)

Thanks & i hope you understand.
All the best!

well sure but then my other post asked I wonder why?
I wanted to know why and yes one peron answered that but that is just his opinion I would like everyone elses opinion.....and why close it? If no one was interested it woulda fell off the page and gone forever....
Sounds like there must of been a girl fight and Katy doesnt want anyone to talk about samantha?? Thats my take of it......

So from what you say if I woulda of worded it "what are your views on this" it would have stayed open??

Also if it was closed due to the reason it was answered, then why are there a million other threads that have the answers and tehy are still open???
example:
http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=600607
http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=616246
http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=32339
theres a few for you to lock

I think it is an issue of a banned member with the Mods. I doubt they wouldn be talking about why as this is a a privacy issue for that particular member. I don't think we should be privy to that.

Let me guess, this thread will be closed soon as it is just repeat after repeat.

Same reason that this thread will be closed...the original question has been answered therefore no more discussion is needed...

I think there is something called a Report Button which you can report which thread you think should be closed.

Congrats on being a mod of a bigger forum.

Please close this thread....
You guys are quite lame. Inflated online heads...haha whatever....No sense on talking, it just goes over your guys heads.....
And thanks for the update on the report button....I cant get in trouble for reporting can I??
Have a Happy New Year!!!

Oh I just went to report this thread to close....
But I saw this
"Note: This is ONLY to be used to report misplaced threads, spam, advertising messages, and problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude) posts. "
So do I still report threads that have been answered??

Maybe you can use this as the reason for reporting this post? How about saying that the Post is rude?

"You guys are quite lame. Inflated online heads...haha whatever....No sense on talking, it just goes over your guys heads....."

True but what about the other posts you said I could report?
This is what I will say when I report
"Please lock thread as it has been answered.....
wisdomtool said to do this if I find a thread that has been answered.
Thanks"

oh and can it be rude if its true??

I will not be replying to this so it may be locked.
Have a happy new year everyone
