Anything being sold for $5 or less should be posted in the freebies forum. Failure to comply with this rule may result in an infraction.
Why does my thread (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=619550) keep getting pushed into the freebies section?!
$5.01 is more than $5 is it not? It shouldn't matter how much more than $5 it has to be... No one looks for Rapidshare accounts in the freebies section! It's already been moved back to the second page within 10 minutes!
Freebies
f you are offering any sort of free services or products (or seeking them), this is the only place those offers should be posted.

Chicago Guy said not to try and do one for five o one or that will be an infraction.

Would $5.10 be a good enough workaround? I don't see why he didn't mention that five o one rule in his post...

In regards to the description of the Freebies section, it says that it is the only place that you are allowed to post Freebies... But it says nothing about not being allowed to post paid items. ;)
Posting an item for $5.01 is sort of abusing the rule -- consider posting the thread for $6.00. :)

Just in guessing, I would say it needs to be six dollars ish.

I would exactly expect that you would get an infraction as you are complying with the rules... But only just.

You shouldn't be trying to work around the rules.
They are there to protect people from others who buy iTrader at a cheap price purely to inflate their apparent trustworthiness.
Accept that you aren't going to get any iTraders for this thread and expect it to remain in Freebies.

Who? All I'm trying to do is sell my RS accounts on this forum... and if the only way for me to sell my accounts is by increasing the price to keep it out of the Freebies section then I'll do it.

He was a famous member around here - had a large fan base.
Edit: Why are you so keen to keep it out of Freebies? Do you think it's right that you're increasing the price even though you know your accounts are worth less?

I don't have much of a choice, there is no business in the freebies section - just... well freebies. People look around in the Freebies section so they don't have to buy anything. My thread goes down a page or two every half hour as well.
I don't think it's right to hike the prices but what choice do I have? I've tried giving better offers on RS accounts and in return I get two infractions and a dead thread.

I assume it's because of the Freebies section is sooo flooded with free diggs/stumbles/foot washes that his thread wouldn't stick to the first page for more than 2 minutes.
Edit:
@Minh - try a new title... I.e. "Free Cash..." Finish off the sentence in the thread with something along the lines of "back if you buy 500 or more RapidShare.com Accounts from me." :D
How about we sum this thread up with...
# The staff here had the final say on what is appropriate and what is not.

Do mods really use that bad grammar? :p
Why don't you revert to the green version of the template? The blue version's stuffed (it has green images in some places, blue in others). :D

Just ignore them - no point getting worked up.
(BTW - hope you're female - I get funny when blokes call me sweetheart!)
