Hello, bEv here.
ANd im writing because im worried about my CJ stuff.
How is possible that i generate more than 500 impressions per day, more than 30 clicks and a CTR of 6%, and i have just one sale or one lead per week.
I know this is not too much compared with some of you, but how good is related to performance?
Thanks.

I'm no guru, but I'll reply anyway ...

How/what are you promoting? With a CTR of 6% it's gotta be banners right?
You either need a crap load more traffic (like 2000 imps per day), or to raise your CTR.

Care to share your url? :)

It all depends on product also. Some things are easier sales than others. Try different products to see what sells.
You need alot of traffic and clicks to make one sale.

HOw much is an average CTR?
You both are right i definately need more traffic, but isnt 30 clicks a day, a good average? Just asking.

It really depends on what/how you're promoting, and how targeted your traffic is. 30 people who end up on your site by chance might click, but they'll never buy. I'll click a link to a fantastic whatsamagadget, but I'm not going to buy it. If you can get 30 clicks from people who already want to buy a whatsamagadget, then you'll be set.

What are you promoting?
How are you promoting it?
Give us your URL :)

What merchants are you promoting?? It all depends on the conversion rate of the merchant's website and the time of year.

Hello, i know im not helping too much, but i prefer not to give that information, im using Ebay, and my traffic comes mostly from SEO. I use the RSS of ebay. And the products shown in the sites are related with the content of it.

Usually a bad conversion rate is the result of a bad advertiser that does not have a compelling sales page for the products you are selling. I try a lot of different niches in test blogs before I build a site around a product line. Sometimes I am amazed at that works and what does not. I do not let myself get captured in the emotion of any niche, if it works I propagate it, if it doesn't I abandon it quickly.

Banner ads do not make me much money, I pretty much make every penny on products.

Yay! Another DIY eBay RSS CJer :D
You should be getting way more than 6% CTR from the eBay rss (my eBay CTR is kinda scary!), and organic search engine traffic should be converting way better than 1 sale per week.

PM me your url if you want, I'll check it out.

Q: What does "ACRU" mean?
A: An "ACRU" is a new eBay active user. That means an individual who: (a) registers for eBay for the first time; (b) confirms his or her registration with an eBay-supplied password sent by email; (c) then goes onto eBay and places a bid or uses BIN to purchase an item within 30 days of their original registration.

The program is not session based - users do not need to click, register, and make a bid or use BIN during the same visit. As long as they come back and finish the registration process within 30 days.

EDIT > you don't need to 'add' anything to get ACRUs. If a non eBay member clicks one of your links, then decides to sign up to eBay and bid - then you've got an ACRU :)
