how can i register to adwords and how much money it will take

i want to register to adwords .but something i dont understand i have tried searching on google some one says its just take $5 to setup up once time fee but when i tried to register it says i must $50 or $100 to set the budget .can i set budget like $30/month or wot ever i want as it says i can set ppc as low as i want.
so please help me in this

There is one-time $5 activation fee, and after that you pay as much as you want.

Set your daily budget to $1 dollar, and you will never spend more than $1 per day.

Adword takes a lot of money if you on 1 page.
but I would like to know, if any one insured, that your adwords will not be abused by your competition? it is possible, that someone will just sit there and start clicking on my adwords?

does google has protection against something like that happening?

You need to pay 5$ for activation thats it...rest is paying for clicks...

Daily Budget is amount you are willing to pay per day...you will give Google the scope to show your Ads

You can set it from 1$ to as much as u can spend...

but essentially you need to give bid for every keyword...to determine how much u want to pay per click

thanks for the information but wot if i want to spend $30/month only for my compaign which i have set in adword can i do this ? and wot abt the budget they ask for like not less than $50 while making ur adwords account.
