Weight without API key?

Help...!! I don't seem to be able to get an API key from Google, and my weight is zero, even though my pages are indexed. Will the system check the weight automatically at some point, or do I have to enter an API key? :confused:

Also... is there some general problem with the API key generator? I'm asking coz I'm located in China which has an evil tendency to block a number of features of Google :mad:

You will still be assigned a weight (if appropriate) without an API...It just means that you have to wait until it does it. I believe it is once a day though so hang tight.
