Exact match and/or phrase match only for typos, otherwise, their broad match will cover everything.

Hi friend
Broad Match:
It will cover all combinations of your keyword. say u give gold jewelry, ur add will be shown for want gold jewelry, gold jewelry in new york, gold, jewelry, gold cheap jewelry and any thing u can think of.
"Phrase Match"
It will require your keyword to exist in the search. Say u add a keyword gold jewelry, your add will be shown for want gold jewelry, gold jewelry new york but not for gold, jewelry, gold jewelry in new york, gold cheap jewelry, gold body jewelry.
[Exact Match]
It will show your ad only for the exact keyword u gave. gold jewelry
Thanks

For bidding on typos you need to bid both on broad as well as exact.... this will reduce your cost as exact matches generally have lower or equal to broad match...

hi sem-consultant,
exact matches generally have lower or equal to broad match...
are you sure thats correct for typos?
I mean have you seen verifiable data on that?
i stopped typo bidding about 2 years ago as googles broad match got better and better.
regards
patrick
