What's the difference between "exact" match and "phrase" match?

I'm not entirely sure exactly... I think all exact match and phrase match refer to is if people put "" or [] around there searches.

You should be using both for your campaigns, though. They're super targeted and it definitely can't hurt.

Hi,

The syntax
Exact keyword: [your keyword]
Phrase keyword: "your keyword"

Now the difference:
Suppose you have keyword online mobile store. you are running this keyword in phrase then you will put it like this "online mobile store". If someone search with keyword like cheap online mobile store, hello online mobile store, online mobile store best, online mobile store prices etc... then also your ad will display. It means that in phrase the keyword should be in same sequence but will also display on any prefix or sufix used with that phrase keyword.
And in exact your ad. creative will appear only for that keyword which you have used in your campaign [your keyword]

Broad Match:
It will cover all combinations of your keyword. say u give gold jewelry, ur add will be shown for want gold jewelry, gold jewelry in new york, gold, jewelry, gold cheap jewelry and any thing u can think of.

"Phrase Match"
It will require your keyword to exist in the search. Say u add a keyword gold jewelry, your add will be shown for want gold jewelry, gold jewelry new york but not for gold, jewelry, gold jewelry in new york, gold cheap jewelry, gold body jewelry.
[Exact Match]
It will show your ad only for the exact keyword u gave. gold jewelry
