Hi..
I created a CJ account few months back never used it though. But Last week decided to promote some products in CJ. But all my applications are either rejected or set pending. Only 2 companies have approved me.
So how do I contact the affiliate managers of the companies that have set my application as "pending". CJ says.. contact the affiliate manager using "If you have a question please contact the advertiser through advertisers detail page within the account manager." But certain advertisers have no contact details like email !! :(
Also how do I find advertisers who pay for per lead. and must my site be related to that category to get accepted.

i think that the status of your app is at the advertisers discretion

Hello vic msn,

to contact the affiliate managers of the companies you got rejected from
login to your cj account, click the mail tab and then click compose.
at this point you can select the advertiser you got rejected from and shoot them a mail.

Pending means that the advertiser will manually review your website & then decide whether or not to accept you - no need to contact them.

You are probably getting rejected because either your site is not getting enough traffic or your site is not related to the product being advertised. Try applying to advertisers that are in relation to your site.

yes, applying to relevant advertisers is very important, especially at first. Do you have a well-defined niche?

There are some advertisers that auto approve. eBay is one. (and consequently one of the best, IMO)

You can definitely try to contact through the internal CJ email system or you can get the affiliate manager email address from the advertiser detail page and email them to approve you...

You might have your listed website(s) as "incentive".

I'm an eBay affiliate already through CJ.

But I could NOT apply for the eBay Ads at CJ. I tried many times. I always got:

"eBay: Your application has been declined by this advertiser for one or more reasons. If you have a question please contact the advertiser through advertisers detail page within the account manager."

I think the reason is that I'm not from either US, CA, AU nor UK which is the ebay bases.

Using eBay affiliate tools, I built an eBay page in my site with my tracking code from CJ. No clicks, no earnings.

What's wrong

you are not accepted by eBay..then why do you bother promoting them.
Try other eBay like sites. Or write to eBay and tell them..
Hey I have a eBay store affiliate site. I get lot of traffic to it using PPC. Please accept as your affiliate. Also give them your Cj affiliate id. I hope they will give you a reply.
But till then don't promote it as you are wasting your money

Pending means advertiser approves publisher manually so it take some days i do have one advertsier who is not accpeting me since last 3 month i tried so many times i think it depends on advertiser to accept cj is not responsible for that

Yes - advertisers are responsible for approving or denying publishers. Some companies change marketing companies or their affiliate manager leaves, and they don't know what to do... in other cases, they intentionally ignore apps due to changing marketing strategies (which is quite stupid, if you ask me).

I'd like to hear the response they give you. I am disappointed to hear people are having a difficult time signing up for them, as they can be a wildly profitable company. I earned next to nothing through CJ affiliate for years, but that all changed when I got accepted into the eBay affiliate program..:D

Let us know if you get a response.

Hi guys!

See what eBay had to say:

"The eBay US affiliate program only automatically accepts publishers from
Western and/or English-Speaking countries. We may re-evaluate your
application if you write to ebayaffiliates@cj.com with your CJ account
number, a detailed description of your business model, your methods for
promoting eBay, and the amount of traffic you drive from the U.S."

Ahh, I see. Bummer mate. I didn't realize they made folks outside of the States jump through so many hoops.
