PayPal-Bank Withdrawal Problem !!

On 27th November 2007,i withdrawed Rs 7,500 i.e $197 and deposited to my bank directly.
Within 1 day,the status showed "complete".

Iam from India,mumbai and my PayPal is a verified one.I tried to deposit the funds in canara Bank.

Now,its been almost 1 month but the funds still haven't been deposited in my bank.
I sent a email regarding this to PayPal but they said that its X-mas time so we have too many mails to answer so they gave their phone Number.

What do i do now,Rs 7,500 is a huge amount for us indians :(

Thats really really very late mate. Why don't your give them a call through their given phone number ? You can call them at their given phone number free from your computer through some available services.

I have Yahoo Voice of 100 Mintues with me on my id.
First will contact my bank and then call PayPal

Try checking your bank account number in your Paypal account. Make sure that it is your bank account where the money went. Paypal withdrawal on countries outside the US takes only about 7-10 business days, that's excluding weekends and holidays. But one month is too long already.

may be this is happening because its the end of the year when paypal goes into the maintenance and all that stuff!!i also have to withdraw my money to the HDFC bank in India and wish me luck too..till now i have deposited the money to my US account..but right now am in India..so wanted that money in my Indian bank account..reading your post has put me in doubt though!!:confused:..lets see till some other person from India replies to this post!

Oh thats bad news. You should have got it by now? Mostly heard people geting it within 5 to 7 days.

I was supposed to withdraw last week but thaught of the holidays and season and cancelled my plan. I think that indeed turned to be a good move.

The exact same thing happened to me. I withdrew $1000 on the 5th of December, and it still hasn't reflected in my account. I assumed in the beginning that it was some holiday related delay, but now I am beginning to freak out. Incidentally, this wasn't my first bank withdrawal, I did a small test run first, and that amount got deposited without any hitches.

I am just on my way to email them now. Does anybody have a phone number for Paypal?

The first time i withdrew funds to my indian bank,it took a month for it to arrive
My bank didn't give any feedback to paypal thats why it took so long

Ya that could be one of the reason. Cos most of the banks dont know what paypal is and have never heard about it.

So its like they dont know what to do.

The same dam thing happened to me. I withdrew $700 on the 5th of December and my money still hasent arrived :( I sent them an email a week ago and i have still not received any reply. I even double checked with my bank and they didn't receive any message from paypal.....

In Paypal, what is the status of that withdrawal ? did it show it as being 'complete' or 'pending' ?

If it is Pending then it is an issue at Paypal end and if it is Complete then it is an issue at your bank's end.

it would be best if you contact your bank as in case of your paypal status being complete..its your bank which is not accepting the payment..i use HDFC bank and i already have informed them now about the money from paypal..i had to fill a separate form for that and they have assured me that now i'll be receiving my money from them..will check it after few days till my account gets some good cash again..this problem is happening with members who are withdrawing more than 100$ at a time..and as paypal is offering free bank transfer after 175$..may be thats why they themselves are not paying much attention to this transaction..all that because they have their HQ in US only..

Well you should contact your bank. I had a same problems due to holidays but it takes 3 more days after PayPal shows me completed status.

Only banks can gives you accurate answers.

Paypal is too busy on this month for having lots of issues because its the month where a lot of purchases are being done. Try sending Paypal another email and give the transaction number when you had the withdrawal. It is better to call them but I guess you will receive a call waiting because of lots of issues.

bhailogo, i duno... i think u might have done something wrg with the ac no or ifsc code check it out ... n if they r fine.. then better not use paypal's service of direct bank withdrawal to Indian bank, use www.xoom. com instead , i have got my paypal funds from it into my sbi bank ac twice w/o any issues, it cost 10 $ up to 500 $ withdrawal... n u get money in ur ac within 5 days ...

Ordered around 23,000 Rs

I had ordered in Nov and got it in December :p
It was my Banks Prob,they were not updating the RTGS records,Damm Locals :p

bro, looks like u filled some wrong info / typo ... cause i just tested with withdrawal of 10 $ n got it on the 3rd day in Bank of india :D
