Hello,
There is a serious problem in the BST section with people requesting review copies of nearly every product in the content and BST main forum. Some topic starters threads say NO REVIEW COPYS !!!!
And people still want to see if they can get them
My friends as selling the $200 a day and like on the 20th page somone asked for a review copy, that is really pathetic.
Tell my your views guys

Report as many as you can. They'll get removed.

"Review copy please" = "I'm a sponging bastard who doesn't want to pay"
What pisses me off even more is that a lot of people asking for reviews have less than 100 posts / 1 month's membership them self.

Thanks Travis.
I post sense most of the time. I also post succinctly (eg. the blunt truth) which some people don't like.
Hope you settle in here at DP.

The only reviews that are worth anything are members with atleast 1,000+ post, 4 of the green thingys, and at least 100+ itrader that is was really counts.

This was discussed fairly recently but not in a thread specifically about this. but I agree it's pathetic, just report it if you dont say in the original post there are review copies available.

As said above, report them as soon as you see them. Trust me, these add up infractions and the person will end up banned. There are so many bottom feeders on here who are always trying to get something free or who are trying to make money for nothing.
This has been addressed in another thread and the mods said they will get an infraction.

Sales people love it when they see a sign that says "No Solicitors". To them it's like a fort knox without security guards. They figure if there's a need to put such a sign, it means there's alot of weak minded people who will buy stuff, eventually.
Alot of the work behind sales is just finding out what bothers people & doing it enough so they give you what you want and leave them alone.
Quit responding to these people, whether through placing a "Hey I'm weak !" sign in your threads, or by making threads like this, & they'll go away. As long as they get some sort of response, they'll keep trying.

I get at least five people a day asking me for review copies of a product that has 21 pages of feedback... not on
Calling them an idiot doesn't help much, but it makes me feel better... :D

Oh geee...not subtle enough? :P
Well, for starters,
1) I dont know what adsense is
2) I dont know the difference between CPM or CTR or MILF
3) I dont know how to open pdf files
Frankly, I dont know who else is more qualified for this job!!! :D

I hate those idiots saying 'review copy?'. I used to keep telling them to shutup, and then somehow I get infractions for it. So now i just ignore all those idiots. (about 5 people on every page ask for reviews)
Even threads that are over 100 days old get idiots asking for reviews.

I HATE people who ask for a review copy. I cannot stand them one bit. Their intentions are wrong when asking for a review copy. I even note that no review copies will be given out, and I still get replies and PM's for them. I wish I can ban them all.

I state in my thread:
Asking for review copies will be seen as spam, and sale trashing. Any requests will be reported.

I also need to start stating that, but I actually started reporting them.

Unless the OP specifically states that review copies are available anyone asking for one in a thread will be subject to an infraction. Please report these types of posts when you see them.
Thanks.

Recently it seems everyone is after something for free...
Alot of people in threads are just like, "any review copies"...
Surely thats seen as spam, the buy/sell/trade is self-explanitory, either you buy sell or trade something or you go some where else.
If someone says first person to post gets a free review copy then fair enough, but I think when people ask for review copies, something should be done about it. This is a webmaster forum, quite a few people depend on the forum to earn and when people scrounge for free stuff it's quite annoying.
If it's not in the freebie forum, it shouldn't be free.. Just my opinion
