and despite being a severely out of date design they still get quite a bit of uniques each day on their buy n sell forum for semiconductor equipment.

he wants to find out how much this site as is would be worth in terms of domain value
are we talking $XXXXX - or not even close.

It's a PR4 site created in 1995-07-29. For a 12 yr old site it will have value because of the age, but I think I've seen a number of aged domains sell here on DP for around the Mid $xx range that are about 8 years old. You might be able to sell it for between $150 IMO, not too sure about aged domains.

$xxxxx is out of the question imo, Its a hard one to appraise, but I would say around low $xxx to mid $xxx
