my pp acc got limited today and i had requested for a funds transfer to indian bank acc...it says -
PayPal is constantly working to ensure security by regularly screening the accounts in our system. We recently reviewed your account, and we need more information to help us provide you with secure service. Until we can collect this information, your access to sensitive account features will be limited. We would like to restore your access as soon as possible, and we apologize for the inconvenience.
Why is my account access limited?
Your account access has been limited for the following reason(s):
20-Dec.-2007: We have detected suspicious activity regarding the receipt or withdrawal of funds.
(Your case ID for this reason is PP-388-527-101.)
when i go on how to remove the limitations...it says follow the steps given but there are no steps given..
please guys help me i am not able to understant what to do

while our acc is limited can we withdraw funds by electronic transfer to our bank account.??
When i goto Learn how to remove these limitations..it shows this screen

No. You can't send or withdraw money from your limited account. You can only receive money.

I think you need to submit documents and add credit card.After that you can gain access to your account again.
Check out what paypal id telling in order to remove the limitation.

they are not asking for any kind of documents..
i also got a mail from paypal -

I think you should click on the link saying "Learn Why your account access is limited"
have u filled everything right there ?? just as::
1. your address is same as what is in your bank...
2. if you added VCC is ur VCC expired if yes then for how many days.
3. i see the name Vineet Bhargava so are u withdrawing the payment to the same account only...??
please reply to all these so it could clarify your situation so we all could help you a bit...

Yes VCC was added but it will expire in Jan 2008

Yes, i am withdrawing funds to this acc only..

i am not able to understand one thing tht y paypal is not asking for any docs or something and there was nothing wrong it the transaction..

b'coz i had requested on 17th dec and transaction was completed on 19th
you have requested 1 day after me i had recieved on 19 so you should 20.
from where ave you received these funds that is important?

friday was eid , sat and sunday are bank holidays...lets wait till tuesday..if it does not happen thn will i get the funds back in my acc or theyll also be gone

saturday is not bank holiday it is half day
make sure you have entered correct account no
and one more thing very important
when you got this mail that your account is limited
was there any link in that saying to login using this to unlock your account
if so check that link
right click on it - copy link location and paste in notepad
check it is starting with www.paypal.com
it should not be like paypal.xxxxxx.com or xxxxx.com/paypal like that
i have got these mails many times
all these are scammers
please check it
no need to worry if you are right from your side
i mean that money is from legal source not from hacked source and bank account no. is correct and last thing that you have not entered your inforation on any phishing site
you won't loose any money it will be back in your paypal account
you just need to wait to get that money in your hands
i will be back in 10 min

ya ill wait..and i dint read the mail first i logged in my pp acc first..lets wait and hope for goood..i dont mind loosing those 100$ (for 180 days) but 250$$ shud not be lost...even if any acc no or sumthin was wrong ill get the money back in the pp acc..paypal jus suxx...as soon as i get all my money back...ill change all pp money to egold or MB..

paypal is the best
it doing all this for security purpose
somebody might be trying to hack your account there fore paypal might ave locked your account
i am having unverified paypal without any problems
i a unverified account than also i don't have problem

guys pp is not asking for any documents or credt card more updates...there is no way to get my acc back...check out the screen shots posted by me in above posts

I hav jus 1 word for Paypal It SUXXX.
It has another enemy today..Paypal has scammed more than 1k USD of mine..due to this f*cking Limitation.\Due to this my other acc are also limited.

Dear , Don worrt i suppose u shud get the funds in ur bank accnt by 2morrow because u myt have noticed :Bank Transfer Completed
Completed Is Completed it wont come back to ur paypal account if u hav provided the correct information of ur b.accnt.Just verify the bank.accnt once again!
B'coz of holidayz there cud be sum delay!

Try to contact paypal by mail or phone ...they will reply and explain you the subject with details
