PayPal Chargeback. When do I get my money back ?

Hey all, I lost my scammer virginity today :)

Anyway, I opened a dispute to get the $45 back. My question is, when and how will I get it back ? Should I just escalate it so PP will review it ?

From my past experiences I usually wait a couple of days or a little bit of time before I go ahead and escalate it. But I would obviously escalate it sooner or later.

The scammer has just been banned so I escalated it to a claim. Let's how it goes.

Did u pay from paypal balance or CC/bank? If u paid from bank/CC,then just call them and chargeback,u will surely get the money back.

If it was for a service, paypal won't refund your money.

I've open a dispute once, and paypal manage to withdraw my payment which I've paid from a paypal balance. Unfortunately the scammer has clean-up his paypal balance so paypal can only withdraw a very small amount.

I hate scammers. Been scammed as well, and DP is flooding with scammers. Just deal with reputable members and members who have successfully exchanged big money.
