Word on the street is more traffic is coming for AdCenter users starting on the 27th:D

It's great news - I'm anxious to see how the conversions hold up.

More info (http://www.ppcdiscussions.com/2006/02/more-adcenter-traffic-starting-feb-27.html).

So what they were limiting traffic to the AdCenter?

testing the initial stages I guess.

How are the conversion stats too by the way?

Yep, AdCenter ads were only being displayed about 25% of the time. From here (http://blogs.msdn.com/msnsearch/archive/2005/10/07/478353.aspx):

During the US pilot, MSN adCenter will be delivering text-based advertisements on up to 25 percent of MSN Search traffic; the remaining traffic will continue to be served through our partnership with Yahoo.

They have been great - still too early to tell how they will hold up with more traffic. To give you an idea of what conversions were like prior to this increase in traffic check out my AdCenter Killing AdWords (http://www.ppcdiscussions.com/2006/02/adcenter-killing-adwords.html) post from earlier this month.

Nice post, thanks for that.

Hopefully based on your figures, it will perform as predicted.

But expect lots of people to be jumping in on the bandwagon :)

Same here, conversions are good, clicks on some topics are a bit less costly. But - it can be hard to compare, because, for instance, 2 different keywords on Adwords may equal one on Adcenter. Or 3 different Adwords key phrases may be one broad phrase in Adcenter, because their definitions are quite different.
Adcenter's stats are getting more up-to-date, and the volume did go up alot yesterday. They are helpful, even over the phone.
One's concern is that, when the field gets more crowded, it will be tough going.
