I've checked my account (not via this email) and transactions are working normally and all my details are up to date. I've emailed paypal through their site, but they've yet to respond. I can't help but think this email is some sort of scam to get peoples bank details and has nothing to do with paypal... or am i paranoid?

Forward them to spoof at paypal.com and let them deal with it.

I'm sure alot of people are. They do sound like they are real but the best way to go to paypal is to just type in https:// I never click on links sent to me in email that has to do with something like that.

Which is why I forward them to spoof at paypal.com, same address for ebay. They have the legal power to take the site down quickly, and save themselves and the merchants alot of hassle.
