Jeremy here, and as the name would suggest, I'm from the Chicago area.

I've often said my hobbies include "computers and all things related".

I was told by someone I should get more hobbies.

I showed them the dozens of computer/tech books on my shelf and asked them to think about what they just said:-)

Came across these forums by way of the tracker tool. Looking forward to some good discussion.

I was going to post to one of your entries re finding this spam free forum by accident but didn't so here it is

When Darryn [from Ireland you may not know him as you are not on the memberlist there] started his chat just over a year ago it was good and spam free then unfortunately he sold it to a commercially interested company [I'm not saying Shawn is not but has a more pragmatic approach] and the blinking ads arrived. I almost left then but luckily I didn't as Shawn arrived and soon after developed Keyword Tracker - a quality tool if ever there was one.

I looked at two other quality forums - but unfortunately they try to combine two languages in one forum and it just doesn't work for me.

Then Shawn started his email forum [like londonperlmongers] and the suggestions said to do it this way and, here we are. Shawn acted immediately and we have the possibilty of quality.

So don't hang back guy "favourite it"

Yeah, you are lucky that you joined here, even though that other GFC was here first, that guy was an unknown factor until you got this thread going.

I tend to only post when I have something worthwhile to say...I've posted more off topic stuff in this thread than I think I have in the rest of the forum combined. No one really cares what I have to say anyways :rolleyes:
