View Full Version : Can I see my competitors' landing pages without clicking their ads?

Hi
I want to view the landing pages of my competitors in the SERPs, but I don't want to click their ads. (besides the obvious ethical reason for this, another reason is I don't want to increase their CTR even by just a tiny little bit)

Does anyone know of a way to do this?

Of course just typing in their display URL could work sometimes but more often than not it's a different URL.

Edit: something went wrong with the subject title. Wish I could edit it to make me look less foolish...

Added "see" to the title for you.

adgooroo (http://www.adgooroo.com/) captures the data you're looking for in an automated fashion.

Thank you.

Just watched the demo. Adgooroo does seem like a great tool, but unfortunately a bit too pricy for me at the moment.

You could always give the free 10 day trial a spin (https://www.adgooroo.com/free_trial_sem_insight.php) - that may give you enough time to get a decent sample of the data you're after.

There may be other free tools out there that have similar functionality I'm just not aware of them.

Right click on the link, copy the URL, and then you'll see their real URL within the long Google tracking link. Copy their destination URL from there.

Other option is the unspoken "gentleman's agreement." Competitors click on my ads to check them out. I check on competitors' ads to check them out. As long as nobody gets unruly, it's not a big deal. I don't mind a few colleagues clicking on my ads--it's all part of the game. But I respect and admire your thinking on this matter, too.

Great tip. For me using fire fox after I right click I have to choose properties and copy the link from the "properties window". Is there any other ways to do this with Firefox? Just curious..

Right click on the ad and Copy Link Location for firefox (or Copy Shortcut for IE) then paste it to a new tab or window!

Thanks! That works very well.

I believe the impressions and clicks don't count if you go through www.google.com/sponsoredlinks instead of www.google.com/search (but I could be wrong... I tested it only once.)
