View Full Version : Is this bad Adsense Placement?

I have had good success with adsense on my sites, but there is one site in particular that I would like to increase the click-thru rate and earnings. I get A LOT of traffic and pageviews, but I'm just not getting the clicks. I have two examples of placement:

1) Single Post - I have a 300 X 250 Text and Image ad on the individual post level that is right above the content. See an example here (http://tv-stream.org/2007/12/01/watch-the-office-tv-series-online-free/). Could there be a better placement or is it a matter of the content on the site?

2) Sitewide - I have a single 336 X 280 text block running on the home page and the search pages throughout the site. This is the one in particular that I feel needs some work. Where could I put this ad instead? See an example here (http://tv-stream.org/) and here (http://tv-stream.org/index.php?s=online+free&submit=Go)

I would really appreciate some feedback. Thanks!
