Max suggested links in a web page is around 100. For external links i think its a lot less.

As Long as they are related you can use them. Use them in Content
There is no limit defined but you can guess when your internal linking start looking like SPAMMING.

I have ~150 internal links on 1 of my sites (to cities and resorts) and they are completely ok, with PR transferred to them from the home and other main pages.

up to 200 is fine as long as you don't do it in an abusive way

Thanks guys for replies, it is not an abusive way at all and all pages are indexed and rank very well, I was just wondering about it, due to the fact that with more and more new content some pages have more and more internal links and i don't want to get mr Google mad :)

I think internal links are a good indication of a wealth of content. That should be a good thing.

Well yes, but there has to be some limit be it 50, 500 or 5000 after which the SEO value will be hurt. Otherwise, people would just post complete sitemap of the site in the footer for better interlinking :)
