I know many people do domaining on a large scale with a 100 or more domains. Do any of you do this? If so how do you find good domains? Do you just use common sense to find good domains, or do you use any tools?

Thanks,
Kyle

Names with Traffic are the gold mine, other wise you can coin a neat name. Good names are every where but not jump to you eyeshot.

In order to get a bunch of really good names, I use many different tools. I buy expired doamins, use different softwares to "filiter" expired domains, create some of my own, look through auctions, and more. So I think the key is to use as many places and software that you can, in order to build a really good list.

the key to being a good domainer is TIME...lots of boring TIME...

there are still some registerable names out there i'm sure...but for the most part all the really good names are already taken...so you have to go through auctions, expirations, back-ordering, etc, etc, etc...

(this is the reason i don't do it...i'm too lazy to be a domainer...lol)

it all depends on how you look into buying domains, are you looking to just buy + park or buy + develop + maybe sell

You can get some decent names with traffic from expired names. that can be tricky as you need to make sure the domain has some decent SERP and ranks better to get organic traffic for parking.

If I have the time I would develop all of my parked domains :D but I don't have enough time to do that with 100+ domains sometimes you might get lucky and someone comes in and give you a fair offer and you make your deal.

It's a starting point for an up & coming domainer

You can use Expired domain Up (signature) to find out domains, then you can buy and sell the domains.. You need to study the domains's potential
