Some godaddy reseller offering $7.15 .com domain name also, you may go for it. For godaddy, yes they offering some price with coupon code too. You can check it via my signature link. :)

If you're looking for a cheap company to register names, Name.com is $5.99 & are a good company so far from my experience with them

Name.com is one of the cheapest if that is what you want for a single domain. Don't be afraid to spend a few bucks more if you have certain features or requirements in mind as it can save you lots of time further down the track.
