I visited marcaria.com to register an IT domain. After I paid the website stated it would take 2 weeks to register? I'm in the US, so I read about the requirements to register the IT extension and it states:
The owner must be an individual or juridical persons residing in or belonging to a European Union Member State.
If client does not meet above requirements, we will register the .it domain to the name of our representatives and then make it available to the client.
I'm worried that the registration is a manual process and when someone sees it they might take it for themselves... or since I'm not a resident that if it becomes "big" then I might not have legal rights to it :(
Can someone ease my mind about this?
