$20 logo contest + $30 for css theme - concept is ready with samples

Hi

I have a logo concept which i would like to use for a website i promote.

BuscaTopo - means Search the Top
so i would like the search icon above the word busca and the arrow
pointing up next to the word top. You can use a different arrow if you feel it
will make the logo look better.

Another option is to have the T on the word Topo look like an arrow with
a movement sensation to it, kind like the word T is going up.

It should be similar in format and style to killerstartups .


I also attached a couple of css themes - if you can make a nice web 2.0 design according to the sample css i attached i will pay $30

The website is www.buscatopo.com.br - the header should room for a flash presentation.

If you have questions post and i will answer them.

I will give this 1 week, i hope to get enough submissions.

The logo does not look web 2.0 at all. The arrow also is not what i am looking for. Please see killerstartups logo to have an idea.

I couldn't get a search icon like what Noob designer made, but I tried making it more Web 2.0ish for you. I put it on a black background, but you can use whatever color you want as its transparent.

Surya - I like the concept, i dont like the fonts and the logo should have more impact . Maybe bevel on the fonts..make it stand out more..

The search icon would look better if on top opn the letter B , just make sure it does not cover the letter.

The logo is not following the criteria i determined. I want something web2.0 style that is simple and that will catch the user attention, killerstartups is a good example to be followed, the fonts I like them with bevel, mirror effect bellow, the arrow and the search icon all interacting together...

The logo does not feel web2.0, the font is not catchy, the T is also not looking too good... Reder to killerstartups logo to have an ideia.. You can also try to use the arrow i attached instead of changing the T to look like an arrow.

Will try something, but the thing is. ALL logos made do feel 2.0, adding the bevel actually makes it go away a bit from 2.0.

Not necessarily the case - a lot of good work is submitted for contests under $50 but a lot of the time, the better designers will be too busy to enter these 20 bucks ones as they are working on other more desirable contests first.

Fot those who are creative you can try to do something different, Busca means serach and Topo means Top - The idea of the company name is "get to the top" of rankings... so if you want to do something to surprise me here feel free...

The colors can can be Dark Blue, White, Orange...

Sorry but i did not like the concept you created...

Please look at killerstartups logo and you can have an idea of what i want. The font should be rounder, mirror on the bottom of the logo...

I like the new concept...Try using a dark blue with white outline for the word busca and topo in white...
Make the nsame of the company stand out more because it is very dull . move the search icon a bit to the bottom so people can read the word Busca...
