$20 I need a intro page for my website

I was looking to have a introductory page to the website in my sig made. It would not have to be anything complicate (especially because I'm on a limited budget). It just needs to be a simple landing page that explains what my website attempts to accomplish. The things I require would be:

1. My logo to be prominently displayed
2. Block of text explaining what my website is
3. Of course it has to incorporate the colors I already use.

anything else would be up to the designer. Since my budget is limited I would also be more than happy to put a link to your portfolio at the bottom of the page until the end of the year. As well as a link in my signature. I am looking for someone that will be around for a while because I will be in need of work in the future. This is basically version 1 of what I am trying to do with a new version coming (with a larger budget) coming out after I iron out all of the bugs.

sorry about that. The website is in my signature. The text is just an explanation of what my site is about I can provide that after a winner is chosen. Filler text can be used for now.

The prize is explained in the title and first post. I neglected to put the ending time but I will except new entries until 8pm Sunday evening. Revisions on those will be accepted until 8pm Monday evening and a winner will be chosen either at that time or within 24 hours of that deadline. This is mainly in case for some reason I am not able to get online immediately at the conclusion.

not really what I am looking for. I don't want the logo to be that integrated with the rest of the design. Also those rough waters would probably make me not want to take a cruise.

btw thanks TDGraphics. I figure they are just hazing the new guy. What people don't understand is that its not necessarily about this particular contest but developing a ongoing relationship that will lead to more work.

not bad but it kind of reminds me of TDgraphics design. You can use the same feedback I gave him and also do something to differentiate it a bit.

I like your simplistic approach but I wouldn't mind seeing a bit of the blue incorporated somehow. I also like how yours has a bit of a glossy look to it. I like the nice clean look.

I guess there isn't really alot in common. I see what you are trying to do with the water and the sky in the background but I'm not really a fan of it. I also don't like the big orange enter button. You should put three panels down at the bottom in the white area for me to use for additional information.

I want to first say thank you to all that submitted entries. I am going to chose Webmasterplace for this particular contest and to do all future work on this particular website. The reason I chose him had to do with his submission (which will be posted for all to see soon) and because I think he will be a good fit for this project in the future. Now that I have a picture of the type of talent that exists here at Digitalpoint I hope I can just go straight to you guys instead of posting projects or contests.
