Has anyone had success (I'm sure there have been many!) with apache mod rewrite. From my readings, much better for the search engines
Looking for *simple* examples, have googled many tutorials, but nothing yet that makes any sense.
Trying to do something like this ...
'showpage.php?ID=12' to change to '/page/12'
or even something simple like change PHP to HTML
'something.php' to 'somthing.html'
My server is capable of doing this and I do have access to the .htaccess
