$50 Logo Contest!

Hi all,

ive been a member of the community for a little while now, so when i came time for a logo redesign, i thought id give something back to the community or atleast a member (my dollars hehe).

Im offering $50 for the design of a logo for a web hosting company link found in my signature.

Id like it to be themed appropriatly with the business name / image / site

Some Hints

I love the html colour code 006699

something bright, new and techy!

i like the idea of globes, (earth australia must be visable), fibre optics, that type of thing

Ill try and be as defined as possible as we work towards a winner.

Al logos must be unique.

Tried to keep the design clean, professional and simple. Colors and glossy effect can be added if you like the design. Feedback is welcome even if you don't like the design.

CelaCG - , it seems a little plain im not sure i like the O being obstructed

Td - seems a little templated / plain

Hecky - nice begining concept but doesnt seem webhost like to me

Ariestoteles - Ive seen a few of your designs and i think your very talented.

I like the concept of the globe with the swooshes areound it, that one doesnt appear to fot well though (perhaps a cable wrapping around the globe

I also am not a real fan of the next shading (gradient) can you have a play with the blue a bit, more vibrant


Wasted - i like the colours used - the sattelite and arrows going up seem a little tacky.


IQdesigns - it doesnt seem very clear to me - AU isnt in the globe, and seems a little plain


Noob - I really like where you are going with that Can you have a play with the colours the blue and possibly yellow rather then the undefined grey??



Neil - A nice attempt with the top one - do you have anything else its not the image i projected.



Pklz - No for any new orders they are hosted in premium US DC's - We anticipate our next AU server to be provisioned within the month. (au hosting sold privatly)

Xsabrina - I dont really like the icos, thanks for the attempt!



b4dboy - thanks for attempting the top one doesnt seem very professional (dont like the icons) same with the second the bottom one seems very plain.


natkhatgirl - I like the Concept but the plug doesnt seem to fit well see my example of a cable running around the globe and see if you can come up with anything




GUYS and Gals - some great entries.

See if you can come up with something unique it doesnt have to involve a globe at all they were just some ideas. please keep trying $50 up for grabs

Back after a great weekend :D heres some feedback

Aries, i do like where your going not sold on the orange colours though, and the bands blue feels to clash with the globe

Also if you have some type of icon in the design, i dont really like it ontop of the words centred.


Neil same thing as above, + looks a little flying saucerish - anything other ideas?


otto, little cliche :p nice attempt though, also bright is good :D


CelaCG - my fav so far - i really like where you are going with this one - nice effect - can we add the domain below?

Also can we tweak the globe a little?

i actually like that concept, although the blue gradient on the ball looks a little weird could it be more defined?

CelaCG - the globe looks a little tacked on. perhaps something a little fancy? wireframe? any ideas?

coolwanz WOW that looks awesome!! great entry. can we try a copy replacing the red for a yellow ( if that works hehe) Im very very impressed. very brandable
