hey everyone, I just wanted to let people know I do code. I just recently coded a mod to the vb archives system. It puts thread titles in the url, and it adds h3 tags to help SE's better index vb forums.
Example: http://www.linkinparkforums.com/archive/index.php/

Well, I finally got my archive back up and running. Now it's time to add back the mods to it like you two have.
I hate server moves.

Where would I find this mod?

For VB - This is the best thing I have found -
When I started using it google fell in love with my archives......
vB Easy Archive (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=65703)
About this hack
This hack will help get all your threads listed in google and other search engines and get your threads easily spidered! It works by creating an archive and turning all your posts into .html format. It doesn't actually create the .html files though, but google thinks they are real! It uses mod_mime. If you don't have mod_mime, you will still be able to install this hack, just read the install.txt for help then.
What does it do?
The purpose of this hack are to get your keywords from your forums listed in google and get people visiting them! Since these are all pure text and don't use tables or excess font tags, they are very friendly on bandwidth! This will display all your files in a nice text format that google will absolutely love! Visit the online demo below to see it in action!

Try that mod-rewrite modification if you're interested in thread titles in urls and html extensions for your entire site. I finished this hack last night around 12 AM and 12 hours later yahoo was spidering my site with over 50 bots (normally I get one slurp bot every few days).

That is way to much work, I just changed like 4 lines.
