It expired few days ago already. I tried two cheap registrars because of that, but went back to the namecheap later, too much hassle. Any coupon would be great, but unlike godaddy where there are a couple posted all around on the forums, for namecheap I could find only the above one so far.

In mid December save7993 was posted here. That ended in the beginning of February, and EVENLOWER began. EVENLOWER ended at the end of March and BESTVALUE began.

Looks like they run a coupon for about two months then change it so we all have to keep paying attention. Not as bad as Dotster - their FREEMONEY coupon is "per-sale" not per name, so you have to go through the process all over again if you want a discount on two names.

Just sign up for an account at NameCheap (in case you haven't got one yet), and then request and pay for the transfer of your domain from your NC admin.
Then just follow the instructions from emails you might receive in your inbox. You will at least receive an email asking you to authorize the transfer.

The whole process should normally take about 5-7 days, once you have authorized the transfer.

I've used namecheap for years now, and i like its interface, but im starting to buy more and more domains, even when i just have an idea, and i dont think i'll carry it out, i like to buy the domains.

Yes, it does show the discounted price right in the shopping cart.
I guess .info is already priced as low as possible, thus no further discount.
