First of all I'm just a newbie on SEO thingys. :(

I was astonished to see many members of this forum making link directories. And when me tried to submit URL, most of them found to be paid ones. :(

So the question is what is the advantage of making a link directory and using it for piad submissions. Is there any advantage on constructing a link directory my self ? Or should I use anyone else's directory.

Please shed some light.
Thanks.

Links can make you rich, so they naturally cost money.

Hi Tuning ....

Aaron has nicely explained about Why Are Directories Important? @ http://www.search-marketing.info/directories/directories.htm ...

and there are thousands of free directories ... and also its worth to send few $$ and get listed in Major Directories ...

Hey .... just tried out cplinks again ... very cool and simple to set up.

Wish it would allow more that one sub-category to set up. Every category can have have many sub-categories, but it would be nice to create sub-categories under those subs (hope that makes sense - lol!)

still searching ...
