My ranking has been stuck at 431,383 since last year, BUT:
Traffic Rank for spicegirlslondonescorts.com:
Today.......... 22,053
1 wk. Avg..... 39,046
Surely the site should be ranked higher if I'm receiving well over 1,000 uniques per day ...?

Alexa is inaccurate and thats pretty much the only answer.
I get more traffic and have lower rank than you, go figure.
all depends on who is visitng your site - you could get a million uniques, but if none of your visitors have the alexa toolbar it won't matter. Also the fluctuations (lately anyway) are because of a datacenter move.

everyone should know alexa is crap, cant depend on a ranking by them for nothing.
i receive 20,000+ uniques a day and am only ranked at 45k today, some days it fluctuates to like 14k and then others it even hits 60k, they suck

yeah, we all know it is crap, but much of the internet world out there values it. Text link companies put it in your stats to help sell links to customers.

What a nice surprise to wake up to on a Monday morning:
Traffic Rank for spicegirlslondonescorts.com: 127,417
Today.......... 26,420
1 wk. Avg..... 25,983
That's a jump of more than 300,000 in less than a week!
Now, where's that PR5 I've been waiting three months for ...

Go Spice Girls. :) And yeah, you never know when Alexa is going to update. It's quite annoying.

I don't even look at Alexa. Its so worthless and entirely skewed by webmasters who use the toolbars. Who else has ever heard of Alexa?
