WHY No Traffic from Technorati?

Hello,

Why I am not receiving any traffic from Technorati? I used to Ping them after every post but am not getting traffic from it?

Is that because I dont use Tags?

The blog URL is www.minterest.com (http://www.minterest.com)

Please help me :(

How can I see my rank? and How can I increase my ranking?

Also I have difficulties in claiming my blog... I have sent two mails to their support no response.......

hmm - I dont get traffic from technorati either - maybe because http://www.technorati.com/blogs/www.ianfernando.com is not viewable? I have contact technorati on this but no answer

Same problem here http://www.technorati.com/blogs/www.minterest.com it says it doesnt exist... and there is no response from their support... Have you claimed your blog?

I have claimed my blog when I signed up with them, recently this just happened and I want to know why and their support sucks!

technorati is not that famous now..and one of top bloggers who is among top 10 in technorati said that he had few hits (3000 unique visitors) per month..it's alexa traffic rank is not showing too...perhaps private...only authority system makes sure that high ranked blogs have more blog (technorati claimed) links to their posts

u get some traffic from it using tags....while posting...don't use common tags like blogging tips or make money online...put tags same as some one would enter as search text in technorati search engine to find your post...few people now also search blogposts in technorati even tough many have migrated to google blog

^^^ I use Windows Live Writer to post... but just now I posted a Free AdWords Promotional Code post right from WordPress 2.3.1 which supports tags and used the tags google, ppc, adwords... but it still its not indexed.....

Also one more thing.. I am pinging some 60 services.. Could that be the problem??? Any Idea?

And finally... to test this I week back.. I created a suddomain on www.minterest.com and created a blog on that domain which was mahesh.minterest.com and then just created a post with my names as tags.. and published from WordPress Dashboard... I was surprised... it was indexed instantly by Technorati and Google Blog Search....

Just contact their support 2 or 3 times I got a response after sending them 2 or 3 mails.... just do it... theey will contact you....

BTW... anyone know how often do Technorati updates the ranking.. My rankin was Rank: 166,367 a couple of days back and today its Rank: 162,356. So they update the rank daily????
