I want to order from a retailer that takes Google checkout as a payment method (I do not have a US credit card as I am from the UK), and have funds in my paypal.
Does anyone know how I can transfer roughly $50 from Paypal to Google Checkout so I can place my order?

The only way that I can think of, would be to get a paypal debit card, and add that card to your google checkout account. There is no method that would allow a direct transfer as Google Checkout does not hold money like paypal or a bank account, it is only a medium for transfer.

You do not need a US credit card to purchase from a retailer who uses Google Checkout. You can use your UK credit card to make payment. You only need to be US based if you want to sign up as a merchant as far as I recall.
Google Checkout is just a 3rd party payment processor, it does not work like Paypal and does one thing and that is collect money on their customers behalf, you cannot transfer funds around like as in paypal.

Some google checkout sites offer Check as a mode of payment? I mean google base. Another thing u can do is have someone who has a credit card to purchase the item u want and later pay that individual with paypal, thats if they so desire.

It looks like that the 'pay a friend' method would work best. My problem is that my credit card expired and my new ones are in the mail - I got disorganized and now I am paying the price!
