Total Newbie to CJ need to Learn the basics

Hi I'm completely new to cj singed up yesterday. Im pretty new to affiliate
marketing I started with clickbank its been a month and a half and i made $1000.

I decided to try to cj but now I'm so confused. I signed up for a advertiser and
got a link and the PID is different from my account number. SID is like in TID
in clickbank right? Whats an AID?

Also how do I check if my link is working? In clickbank when you go to buy
the product it has your affiliate id. I do not know how to check in cj, also
I clicked the url cj generates for the advertiser I signed up for but it doesn't
show it as a click in the cj main window place.

Also what exactly does encrypting the link do? And will it work with redirects?

Please I need all the help I can get to get started.
