I allways loved adsense, so easy to implement, and people clicking away to my bank account ... but I think affiliate earnings can bring a lot more profit per click ...

So, I guess most of the experienced marketers here tried both, so .. now when you start out a new site, you're thinking affiliate, adsense .. or your product ?

I believe Adsense can make you a nice living, I know it pays my expenses, but I think it's tougher to strike it reach with Adsense than it would be promoting a product .. What do you think, guys ? Need some high earners opinion :)

I have earned way more with affiliate income but i have more security with adsense i can roughly know how much i make with affiliate income it is more hit an miss with my monthly targets.

Adsense is good for covering hosting cost and other expenses but you really need to be making big buck also with affiliate marketing such as clickbank or regnow these can be good.

Depends from site to site ...
Some sites do great on adsense but dont get any sales .. on some sites/niches its vice-a-versa...
I personally concentrate more on affiliates these days...

Sometimes having adsense on your affiliate websites takes visitor away from your site. So you get .10 and the other person gets the sales. I keep adsense and affiliate marketing totally separate. I found my commission junction sites make more money WITHOUT adsense on them.

Just my experience.

the income from adsense no doubt is more steady than affiliate program.
