$50 Logo Contest - 2 Days Only - Show Me Your Best!

I've put my original competition on hold... and I'm just looking for a logo design.

US$50 is up for grabs in this 2 day contest (payment will be made via paypal after the winner is publicly announced).

I'm looking for a professional logo for http://www.LightningPop.com

I see the logo having a yellow lightning bolt with a 3D or Raised look.

This competition will last just 2 days so get your entries in quick.

I will endeavor to give feedback quickly to everybody who submits a logo... I will also give notes on which logo I like the best so far.

Mongey - I like how you took the lightning for the L approach that is creative.

hs143no - blue and yellow go quite well together but nothing grabs me.

I'm really looking for something more here. I really want the logo to 'POP' and stand out while looking professional.

Addictedtofate - It will be on a white background but it's pretty plain jane and it's not popping out at me like I would like.

Weblazer - I like the bolt and the circle (yellow one) grey and the font are not doing anything for me.

Can anybody do some 3D effects?

Yes ... the main look is taken from winamp logo but not all .. i just took the box .. loghtning sign is mine and the box is changed a little bit ..

You can't just take their logo and claim it's only a small part of the logo so it dosent matter :)

Just woke up and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of entries. Thank you to all who have taken the time to enter.

NightVisioN - I like this logo the best so far (blue and yellow) but you need to incorporate the writing as well.

Pklz - Nothing wrong with this design but I'm looking for something 'fancier'

GaaPele - Not what I'm looking for... wrong colors... hard to read and off balance.

Dariks - I like the 3rd one the best... but I'm looking for something more.

matafixer - Wow now that is thinking out of the box... thank you for trying something different. Not sure what to say or how to improve but I'm looking for something longer rather than higher.

Weblazer - thanks for your edit, colors are better but still I'm looking for something different... something 'popping'.

NightVisioN - Like this better but still needs writing.

matafixer - thank you for your 2nd entry - I feel this one is a step back with the wrong colors and similar design to what has been shown so far. Looking for something a lot different.

jBud - don't feel dumb it's my fault (actually I'm blaming DP ;-) ) as I couldn't edit the last comp and didn't want to bump it with an additional post. But just looking at your logo design... I like how the lighting is raised... font is hard to read... and I don't know how that would go on a white background.

sfcom - sorry but I don't like the font at all and it doesn't scream professionalism.

neilparnham - I'm looking forward to it seen some of your other logos and they are fantastic.

alliance - I like the blue circle and the bolt and that it has some 'raisedness', looking for something tighter (longer rather than higher) where the words blend in.

Please Note - In the interest of being fair to your hard work, don't edit your logo, if I like your idea I will choose you and ask that you edit certain parts. But if you want to enter twice with different designs then by all means.

Neil & coolwanz thank you for your entries.

Neil - it's not doing anything for me... don't know what to say or how to improve other than say it's not what I'm looking for or what I had in mind.

coolwanz - I feel like the lightning bolt is Elmer Fudd ;-) and it is looking a little cartoonish for my tastes... I like the writing font and the swoosh... I would prefer yellow rather than orange but maybe you thought that it wasn't dark enough with a white background. I can see the top left design in the "Powered By" logo but it looks like the lightning doesn't belong.

I still believe NightvisioN has a feel of what I am after most.

Neil - that shield one has the most potential... is it possible to make it more 'real' looking? Also make the bolt with only one kink... I like that design better.

coolwanz - looking much better. That bolt is slick. Dark blue doesn't look like it fits to me.

sfcom - sorry but that is not professional enough for me.
