Hi All,
Today I checked my SERP in Google at that time I found that there is big changes in my SERP on all keywords.
I think Google SERP update is going on.
Anybody found SERP changes for their website?

No major changes here. It has been pretty stable for the last month or so.

You are correct in stating that serps change every day, what the poster is refering too is a change which can only be described as a large update. You are refering to fluxuations in the serps, the poster is refering to an update.
Backlinks are updated daily. if you are refering to google toolbar PR update then that occours once every 3-4 months, what you need to realise is that the pr is constantly updated, google only updates the toolbar in this period, so PR is irrelevant in some ways.

I've noticed some movement starting October 31st I haven't been hit too bad though.
It also appears to me that new pages aren't getting indexed as quickly.

SERPs change every day. Google doesn't crawl all the sites together, and their SERP changes depending on the crawl. I have seen keyword ranking go up and down depending on when site is crawled. It goes up right after the crawl. Down after few days.

Hehe, if SERPs were updated staticly, just like PageRank, can you imagine how often we'd see people selling single pages "Ranked as number 1 for keyword xyz!". That would give Google something actually worth being concerned about, so maybe they wouldn't have to make up all these problems.

Google SERP updates very often. I think your not that active in checking your keyword ranking. Check it from time to time if you want to monitor it well.

I check my targeted keywords everyday and I noticed that some of my keyword always changing in position. Sometimes got high position and sometimes got low. So meaning, Google update SERP frequently.

Same here. Google seems to take about 4 days average to reflect any change on my site in the serps. This has been consistent for about a year.

Google probably makes MINOR adjustments to its algo fairly often. But MAJOR adjustments shouldn't be necessary at this stage, after at least seven years of research and testing.
So any sudden big changes in your sites' SERPs are probably not due to changes in the algo, but rather to something specific to your site.

I check my rankings on Google everyday. Nothing really big has happened, except one of my sites is now jumped from rank 2 to rank 1. :)

SERPs update constantly for me, not at daily intervals.
Same with me.. I can check in the morning before work and I could be on the first page (rank number between 5 and 10) for one of my keywords, I check after work and I could be anywhere from page two to page 3, and usually back to page 1 by bed time!
Right at the moment I am not in the first 10 pages for the same keyword, or even the keyword plus my name
I have been dropped off the first 10 pages before, the same day the PR updated, and wasn't back on the first page until Nov 1st, So it took like 5 days to crawl back. I hope it doesn't take that long this time! (its worth about 150 hits a day from G)
Whats strange is that Google webmaster tools says that I have moved from number 8 to 7 for that keyword..
Still rock solid at number 4 on yahoo.
Ilive-cms_com I just noticed that you are in Brizzy too... Maybe Google just do this to tease us because there jealous of our weather  (Yeah.. Who needs water, Its overrated! "Long live the drought")

I am seeing a big change in SERPs for one of my site. Other sites are stable, little here and there. The new update has bring all the keywords in the top 20 where it was nowhere in top 100. I hope this is specific to some sites and not for all the sites.
Just my 2 cents.

On October 26th the same day as the PR Update we got hammered from 1000 visits per day from Google down to about 50 a day. We got put back to our positions back in December of 2006. Some products and keywords that only we have are even gone from the SERPS which IMO is complete negligence on Google's behalf.
I personally think that Google is still doing a major update and will release the final results soon.
PS. Please stop saying Google updates SERPS daily. We all know that.

On October 26th the same day as the PR Update we got hammered from 1000 visits per day from Google down to about 50 a day.
I was not getting 1000 hits a day from Google but I was getting 250-300 for my popular keywords.
The same thing happened to me at PR update. (see enclosed pic).
I did start to get back position for a few of the keywords (and gained a few more) for a couple of days, but then. BAM:eek: I got smashed again.
I personally think that Google is still doing a major update and will release the final results soon.
I agree, serp for me is all over the show.. Hope it settles down soon.
PS. Please stop saying Google updates SERPS daily.
Do they really? jks :D

google is doing an experiment!
Google is experimenting with Digg style voting features on search results that allow users to vote up or bury search results they see.
