Google doesn't read keywords. They read the meta description and on-site descriptions.

The meta tags are ok.

But you don't need to use most of them, they Title is the most important.

Which keyword are you targetting?
And is it there in your title tag?

:)

Google has ignored the meta keywords tag for a long time. This tag was abused (keyword spamming) by too many webmasters.

However, DO NOT discontinue using the keywords meta. There are other SEs besides Google and many of them do in fact look at that meta.

Correct, they do not gather keywords from your meta tags, Yahoo! is still believed to use them, but with very small weight.

Get relevant links to your website on other websites.

Here are just a few suggestions:

- Write an article and submit it to a good article directory along with link(s) to your site.
- Add your url to your forum signature
- Get a blog owner to review your website for you
- Submit your site to high quality directories
- Contact webmasters of related sites and ask for a link

And they use it to display relevant ads via adsense, right?

Which tool are you using to check if google is able to read your keywords?

The results should suggest something what could the reason if it's happening.
